VIVOTEK IP8162P are part of the SUPREME series product line offering 1080p HD resolution with superb image quality. The camera can capture a more comprehensive view than a standard VGA camera, significantly reducing the number of cameras required. It is especially suitable for monitoring wide open spaces such as building entrances, airports, or applications requiring accurate identification.

The IP8162P employ many advanced features to allow users to fully enjoy the high definition video. With high performance H.264/MPEG-4/MJPEG compression technology, the camera offers high-quality video in full HD @ 30fps with a minimum of bandwidth consumption. The Video Cropping feature allows a user to only transfer user-defined regions for viewing instead of an entire scene, which can also be used to optimize bandwidth and enhance storage efficiency. The ePTZ function enables users to zoom in and focus on a region of interest in the camera view with only a few clicks, providing an additional level of image enhancement.

Additional value-added functions that give users more flexibility and efficiency of use include WDR Enhancement, which allows users to identify image details in extremely bright and dark environments. The Focus Assist button can aid an installer to precisely adjust the camera. When pressing the Focus Assist button on the camera unit, an indicator will be displayed on screen with detailed focusing information, which will vary in accordance with the manual adjustment. Moreover, holding down the button will zoom in on the target area for fine tuning, resulting in better usability and picture clarity. The IP8162P model comes with an advanced P-Iris lens, which controls the iris opening with extreme precision at an optimal level at all times via the built-in stepper motor, resulting in superior sharpness and depth of field as well as image quality.

As with all VIVOTEK true day/night cameras, the IP8162P feature a removable IR-cut filter, maintaining clear images 24 hours a day. Together with WDR Enhancement, users can identify image details in extremely bright as well as dark environments.
